Croatia’s Winter Wonderland

Jan. 2, 2017 to Jan 20, 2017 I had a great opportunity to study in Zagreb, Croatia. The class that I was taking was an intro course into how to use Revit, where we learned how to use this program and then when we came back to Rochester for Spring Semester, we focus on the final project to show what we learned in Croatia. The department paid for a celebration dinner, and our professor took us to this restaurant out in the country. Since its January, we are in the dead of winter and by god it was COLD, but I would do it all over again. This was by far one of my favorite trips.
When we arrived at this farm, everything was covered in white because everything was frozen from the cold temperature. After walking around the farm, I just fell in love with the scenery of the picture below. Seeing the little houses and the architecture style that was used was so cool to me. I’m not a person who like to take to many pictures, but I just fell in love with this view and I would see myself waking up to this every morning. I don’t know what it is, but this captured what it was like having a farm in Croatia during winter and being a visitor from the States. The food was so good that no one wanted to stop eating and the family environment just added to the great experience there.
